Me and my seester


So yesterday was a week that we have been in our new home. It's been a crazy week with calls to every company letting them know we are here and ready to pay you.. LOL Many trips to Home Depot, buying a dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, blinds, fan/light combo for both bathrooms, shower head, and knobs to go with. It's been crazy.. but the most important day was today.. Internet.. I dunno how I survived without it. But I did.. I was sooooooo busy unpacking, and calling and getting stuff fixed, and put in and bought, that internet wasn't a big deal yet. So we have painted our entire inside of our house white except for our bedroom and bath because we loved the sage green color. Ro painted to guest bedroom and office himself then we decided that we couldn't do the rest of the house by Sun. so Ro called his Dad and asked him if he knew anyone that could paint cheap.. that night he brought over someone who quoted us $250 for the kitchen, dining area, living room, all doors,hallway, and the entryway. It was done in one day, he had a compressor and got it done fast. Whew, I hated those colors! So tomorrow is the last day of furniture moving, my Dad saved a lot of his furniture when he moved, so we will get a dining room table that was a Great Great Grandmothers, entertainment center,stereo system, and not sure what else tomorrow. My grandparents have a house next to them that they own that is empty and full of furniture from my parents and my aunts and uncles. So I'm sure they will bring of plenty back. My job tomorrow is to box more stuff up at my Mom's and bring over the TV that is mine that is there. We decided just have TV's in the office and in the living room. We had a TV in our bedroom for two years and that's the only place we hung out and did. So we decided that we didn't want to do that anymore. I am waiting for our construction man that will be doing and has done many projects for us, we will be fixing our guest bathroom sink and put a pin in our sliding glass door.. The dummy that put in our doors put them backwards and our window guy that someone could come into our backyard and with a crowbar break in.. so of course Ro freaks and says that pin has to be put in ASAP. So anyways I better get back to cleaning, moving, unpacking,and all that other good stuff. Last night before we went to bed Ro told me he still can't believe that this is our house. I can't either..

Finally the big day is here! Moving day! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Also it is Katie's ( the girl I work with) 1st dance. Ro and I are taking her, she is so excited.. So it's a very special day for the 3 of us. Ro has the day off so he and the boys are moving. I made sure I had everything packed and the things we couldn't pack I keep reminding Ro not to forget them because I don't want to come back here. Only to get Delilah... We decided to get her last so she won't get freaked out by the house by herself or be in the way of getting our room set up. That's the only room right now that will have furniture in the rest of the rooms need to be painted. I'm am soooooooo happy this process is done.I have heard that buying a house can be stressful of paperwork and such.. but man oh man. Good thing I have a lot of patience Ro ran out a couple weeks ago and I had to hold on to the sails of the boat or we might of tipped over. So I better get ready for work. I just had to share with you.

ESCROW CLOSES the 10th!

LOL man this process of buying a house has been crazy.. soooooooooo much paper work.. We went yesterday to FINALLY sign the last of the papers and escrow will close the 10th now.. so no more postponing this.. it's gonna happen.. or else! We are getting tons of free furniture from a friend of my Uncle's who is moving his mother into a rest home. So Tuesday Ro will be renting a U Haul and getting all of that furniture. We are so blessed by all the people who have helped us with this process of buying our own home. With the furniture to the money, to helping out, we couldn't of done it with out the help of those people. We are also excited about spending Christmas in San Diego and going to a Charger game.This will be Ro's second game I believe.. His first was a Raider game which he was soooooo drunk at because of his friend Freddie. So this one will be chill except for me getting up and screaming the whole time. My Uncle was sweet enough to trade someone else to get these tickets for us. He had already given them to someone so he had gotten them back from them and gaven them other tickets, so we owe him big this Christmas. Also it will be nice to be with my (our ) Nana on her 93rd birthday. Every since my Gamough passed I've been wondering what I'm gonna do for Christmas. Every year of my life Christmas Eve we would go to Gamough's and see everyone in the family and eat and open presents. I sometimes start to cry about Christmas because I'm not ready for Christmas Eve, I know it's going to extremely hard but that's why I have Ro .. he told me that we will get through it together. I felt bad.. we went to Red Robin last night to celebrate the last of the papers to be signed, and I said something about Gamough.. He started to tear up and I tried to say something else so he would stop and not get embarrased. As I am crying now I think I should end this blog and say my next post will be about the house and us moving..

Dec. 1 is a huge day in my life!

Escrow closes Dec. 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay! I can't wait! We will probably paint all week and move stuff in the weekend! I am soooooooooo excited to be in my own house for Christmas! I can't wait to get a tree and decorate the house like crazy! I just had to share.

Glad election is finally over.. tired of those commercials..

Just got the email from our Realtor about our roof inspection. We have a bout 6oo dollars worth of repairs, but we are happy it's not more. My Dad said he knows the people who did the inspection and they worked on his house and will do a great job, so that's a good thing. So just an update on house stuff. We can't wait to move in and start painting and fixing it up. We still can't believe we have our own place. I .. think it's mutual .. we have themes for our house.. Our office will be sports stuff. For me it will be Chargers, Padres, and King stuff. Ro will have Cowboy's, A's, and Laker's stuff. Kitchen will be daisy of course.. We are so happy we have yellow tile on the counter tops.. =0) Guest bath.. daisy.. Guest bedroom we have a lot of Disney lithographs.. so that's what the theme will be.. I hope my sister will be in that room a lot. I decided the living room will be a Japanese theme.. Ro said not a lot of red.. lol I have some really cute figurines and cute prints for the wall. I want to get lanterns for lighting in there. Something totally different.. something you don't really see much at people's houses or in magazines.. I rented from netflix the Carol Burnett Show, she's an awesome comedian.. I originally got it for my mom to watch.. but I'm gonna go watch it .. I'm house sitting for my Mom right now.. RO's home with Delilah.. So off to go watch Carol and work on my baby blankets.. Night

GREAT NEWS!

We got a house! Tomorrow we will sign a rider which mean we will start the inspection part. Which will be pests, contractor telling us if the roof needs work, or if anything needs to be fixed. My Uncle was in Construction and did remodeling so he will be going with us to the contractor inspection to tell us if we should go through with it or not. So we are really excited. Unfortunately we don't have pictures to show. Will update if anything else comes up.

House searching stinks

Well tomorrow Ro and I and my mom will go with our Realtor to go look at some more houses. I'm so anxious to move.. More things happened last night when we got home that I wasn't happy about living here. Mike's low life brother Billy comes here from Sacramento to do his laundry there for I decided I would no longer contribute to buying things for the laundry because I didn't think it was right for him to come here and do it. Even though they aren't my washer and dryer but I would buy the detergent and dryer sheets and all that and he would do like 3 loads. Then he hangs his shirts in our shower.. Hello maybe we want to take a shower! Then i get in the shower and there is blonde hair in our little hair trapper thing for the drain! YUCK! They washed their dogs in our shower and didn't clean it out! GRRRRR! I needed to vent! I have exciting news though.. I have only 2 really close cousins one lives down the street from me and one lives in Idaho. I just found out that the one in Idaho is pregnant for her first baby! I'm soooooooooooo excited for her, I was just there for the Summer. Also my Nana who is 92 is up from SD visiting for 2 weeks. Ro and I are spending Christmas with her and my Aunt and Uncle that she lives with for 9 days. We can't wait!

I thought I would finally add a picture... of me and my "Boo Boo's" Delilah.. LOL I know Jenn that's what you call your kitty too. But I call Ro Boo and Boo Bear that it just fit. =0)

Crazy long week!

So Ro and I have been busy with house sitting we have had 2 house sitting jobs this month so far and then we do another one Thurs. till Sun. I love it because it feels like our own place. This week the 9/22 - today we have been house sitting for a house that has 2 pug's named Millie and Maggie, 1 cat Marcus, 2 love birds Jack and Jill, and about 5 or so fish. Feeding these animals twice a day wasn't all that bad! I never knew that pug's could be so noisy though! They sound like pigs and the sneeze on you! I felt bad because I couldn't sleep with them. So I slept in the spare bedroom and Ro slept by himself, except for last night because it was our last night there. Millie snored so loud I kept waking up the first night I was there. We made cookies every night and Ro made me dinner two nights in a row. He BBQed these Foster Farm chicken breast that were already seasoned, my Dad re-did the packaging for it so he had 3 to give us. They were really good. Tomorrow my Mom and I are leaving to go to her friends wedding in Monterrey, we are going to stay the night because the wedding is in the evening. Then we will drive back Sun early noon, for my Aunt and Uncle's BBQ with family. My Uncle had ulcer surgery this week so I hope he's doing better, I was glad I was in Turlock this week so I could visit him. I'm hoping we here soon if we get the house.. I am so stinken anxious! I have so much stuff for it already, every time I see something I buy it even though my Mom is running out of room for me to store this Stuff.. =0) I can't help it I feel that if I don't buy it I will never find it again. I am being more $ conscious though. Today I saw this glass daisy bowl at Tuesday Morning it was $19.99, I immediately put it back. I did get Delilah this toy though that was $6.99 and stinken cute. It's a plastic thing of cheese and you can hook toys to the post that sticks to it. Whenever I get it out and she plays with it I will have to post a picture so you get the idea. Then I got a Orkin plastic glove mitt for taking out hot things out of your oven. A house we housesit for has one and I think it's the coolest thing. They had a brown dog one but it was $20 I bought the plain clear one for $8. I bought some Xmas present too! I can't wait for Christmas.. I can a little because I will be turning 25 the week before and I am really not looking forward to 25.. Because when I was little I wanted to be married and have a couple kids by this age. I guess things don't always work out the way you want. At least ... hopefully I will own my own home by 25 that will be something I never thought I could do at this age. Well I better get to ebay stuff since I am at my Mom's .. my Mom did the craziest thing last night.. she went to a American Cancer Society Benefit.. That's the crazy part.. she bid $20 on like 500 baseball cards... She said I figured you can sell them on ebay.. Talk about overwhelming! I have plenty to put on ebay right now! I don't need tons of baseball cards to go with it! Oh well! I said Mom we will make millions! =0)

Good, Bad, and the Good again

Today was pretty busy. Work was tiring.. but I think that's because I had my contacts in and that makes me tired. Then I took Katie to bowling, and then dashed back to work to watch Goldie play volleyball. She was in Katie's class last yr. and she's a sweetie, her Mom is a amazing women and has adopted numerous children including Goldie and her biological sister. They still take in Foster children as well. So her Mom wasn't there to watch her. Right when I showed up she had just finished there game. So I sat with her and watched the 8th grade team. Then I got a text from Ro saying Nini was over.. ARGH! He's upset because Mike invited him over and they are drinking together.. I'm upset because I know how's it's bothering Ro and it bother's me that Nini is there. He hasn't been to our house in a LOOOOOOOONG time. His alcohlism is still out of control and he has caused a lot of drama.. So I wasn't happy about that.. So then I knew that I would want to make dinner so I asked Ro what he wanted me to pick up.. So I got us Nacho Bell Grande's .. because I had a coupon! DUH! =0) So Delilah is doing better.. She's still on her meds and she has been staying in the bathroom for about 4 days now. She likes the mat we dry our feet on after shower.. It's cool and she's cool so they go swell together. We also found out today that the house that we put a offer on is a listing for another company and the person that has it listed has someone who is interested as well but they haven't put an offer.. So I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.. Well I need to go call mama.. I think Ro is up .. I hear him playing Guitar Hero.
