So I am not Deal Seaking Mommy of Coupon Clippin Mama
But I can't help but post that I bought my fiance 2 clearance shirts for $4.50 and $4.80. My Mom had given me her $10 gift card from Kohl's that she had received in the mail. So I thought I wanna maximize this $10 as much as can.. and WOW did I.. I got the 2 shirts and when she rang me up she said it has to be a total of $10 to use the coupon. So I grabbed a Kohl's reusable bag for $1.99. Then my total was $1.4o!!! I saved $36.70! THANK YOU KOHL'S FOR A FUN SHOPPING TRIP!

LOL so true but my Mom is so excited and so am I we got such a good deal. $600 for my dress.. Me and my Mom are so frugal we saw this sale and had to stop to check it out. Man it's been awhile since I've wrote.. written.. whatev
Tues. is officially my first day back to work.. Some people are probably thinking.. man that sucks.. actually I'm very excited! Katie being an 8th is crazy to me. I remember her being in 4th grade and learning to understand her speech problems.. Learning to understand her.. now I'm helping others know what she's saying.. poor thing gets so frustrated when people can't understand her. I'm her parrot I should say. ;0) Also I learned some very sad and heart breaking news yesterday. My Mom's neighbor Miss Kayla is 14 and weigh's 88 lbs. and is on oxygen full time. She has down syndrome and on her 3rd or 4th pace maker and her little heart is so weak. I was suppose to babysit her and her two brothers before I went back to work but it didn't work out. I talked to her Mom yesterday and Kayla wants me to come hang out with her. So her Mom wanted to know my schedule. I'm nervous to get a call from her because I'm not sure I will be able to control my emotions when I see my Kayla.. I've know Kayla and her family since Kayla was about 3 or 4. I took care of her and her brothers.. Her brothers when they were born till now. The boys are 11 and 8 now. It's awesome to watch them grow. Kayla is one of the reason for the work that I do.. The reason and passion I have with children and adults with mental or physical disabilities... because of her. Aw man it's hard to write this.. I will continue to love and enjoy my job knowing I'm making a huge difference in one person's life. Hang in there Kayla I love you and when the Lord calls you home don't be afraid.. I love you..

Coldplay concert was sooooooo fun.
So Ro and I went to go see Coldplay for the 4th time! Yes they are one of our favorite bands.. They were awesome like always. I love how they always play new and old songs of there's.. it always bugs me when people only sing there new songs..and usually you don't have them memorized yet because their CD just came out and you get bored. But Coldplay always has me singing.. and Ro too!

I'm so glad to be off work.....
So I've been off work since June 3rd and I house sat for 3 weeks and I'm finally home with my Delilah and Rolie. It's nice because we have been staying up late together and sleeping in together. He's been going into work later, so it's nice to spend time with him in the mornings. We bought a new camera last night, I can't wait to use it. We wanted to get one before we went to the Coldplay concert so we could get really good pictures. The concert is next month but Costco had a coupon and a good deal so we got it.
It's nice to just hang out at home and relax. I've been doing girl's night out with my Mom. We done about 3 so far and another one on Thurs. It's fun there are local women selling certain products like Tupperware, Mary Kay, Dove, purses, and jewerly. Also we have a show coming up in Aug. a weekend trip and we get a good deal on our table because of my scarves, so I am making a lot to be able to show. I'm sure not a lot will sell because it will be warm, but we'll see.
I've been doing a lot of cleaning, and organizing and it's nice to clean up stuff. Also we are getting more wedding stuff done. My Nana is coming this Sat. and is staying until my sister's birthday July 17th. So I am going to be spending a lot of time with her, she is moving to Texas in Aug. and so I'm not sure when I will get to see her again. San Diego is an easy trip .. maye Texas won't be that hard.. It'
s just the weather there.. I've never been there.. So we will see.

All by my lonesome and can't stop thinking about him..

So today was a very interesting.. sad.. wondering.. happy.. day.. My Mom and I ventured to Hollister about a hour or so drive to go to her friends memorial service which was soooooooooo emotional. We went to the lady's daughter's house after to have lunch, on the way back we stopped at Casa de Fruta and mama bought me some blackberry muscat wine.. OOO yum.. I felt so tired and drained and was ready for bed. Ro ventured on a trip to San Francisco with my Dad, step-mom Darice and my lil sis Sam. We had dinner with them last night and they mentioned they were going to SF Farmer's Market because Dad had an article to write and needed some farmer's market pics. Ro being the bold and upfront man he is.. invites himself. =0) Of course they said yes so my sister began making notes for Ro what to bring what time to come, she was excited. So they talked about what I wanted, what they could buy me. So all day I was wondering what they were doing were they having a good time, was he comfortable, was he enjoying himself, did he eat, what did he eat.. tons of questions on wonders all day long.. lol So I get back to the house I'm housesitting at and call him to see what's goin on.. He says they are driving back and he will come over when he get's back. The clock ticks ticks away.. waiting.. waiting.. about 7:30 comes around and he comes over, with bags of stuff he bought for ME! First you have to understand something.. Ro isn't the type to just buy me something.. He waits the last day before Christmas, Ann.,Birthday, Valentines... any holiday to buy me a gift. I only get flowers when he's in trouble and for the first time this year he bought me flowers for our last ann. before we are married. I'm shocked and think these are the things my parents said they would get me... NO! He bought me peaches, pistachios, chocolate cookies, strawberries, leftovers from his lunch ( yummy sushi), and mochi ( Japanese dessert which is best fresh), and some sticks of flavored honey.. Moments like this remind me why I am going to marry this man, because he is always finding ways to surprise me to let me know he is thinking about me, when I think he's not. Also he calls me to let me know he reactivated his Facebook account so we can talk on the chat instead of on the phone and so we can leave each other messages.. I'm a FB addict now.. LOL So even though half my day was spent crying and mourning my Mom's friend it's nice to come home and be thought of... is heaven.. I just wanted to share how much I feel loved and love my soon to be husband.... It was cute because last night my Dad referred to Ro as my husband.. You should of seen Ro's face.. LOL Priceless.. I'm so happy that Ro and my family get along so well. I'm so happy they love each other. I'm also happy that Ro's family loves me as well.. I'm getting emotional... Time to post some of my fav.pics of us... MUAH BOO! Cause I know you will read this.. =0)

One reason I will start to like this guy...

Office of the Press Secretary
___________________________________________________________
For Immediate Release June 1, 2009
LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, AND TRANSGENDER PRIDE MONTH, 2009
- - - - - - -
BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
A PROCLAMATION
Forty years ago, patrons and supporters of the Stonewall Inn in New York City resisted police harassment that had become all too common for members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. Out of this resistance, the LGBT rights movement in America was born. During LGBT Pride Month, we commemorate the events of June 1969 and commit to achieving equal justice under law for LGBT Americans.
LGBT Americans have made, and continue to make, great and lasting contributions that continue to strengthen the fabric of American society. There are many well-respected LGBT leaders in all professional fields, including the arts and business communities. LGBT Americans also mobilized the Nation to respond to the domestic HIV/AIDS epidemic and have played a vital role in broadening this country's response to the HIV pandemic.
Due in no small part to the determination and dedication of the LGBT rights movement, more LGBT Americans are living their lives openly today than ever before. I am proud to be the first President to appoint openly LGBT candidates to Senate-confirmed positions in the first 100 days of an Administration. These individuals embody the best qualities we seek in public servants, and across my Administration -- in both the White House and the Federal agencies -- openly LGBT employees are doing their jobs with distinction and professionalism.
The LGBT rights movement has achieved great progress, but there is more work to be done. LGBT youth should feel safe to learn without the fear of harassment, and LGBT families and seniors should be allowed to live their lives with dignity and respect.
My Administration has partnered with the LGBT community to advance a wide range of initiatives. At the international level, I have joined efforts at the United Nations to decriminalize homosexuality around the world. Here at home, I continue to support measures to bring the full spectrum of equal rights to LGBT Americans. These measures include enhancing hate crimes laws, supporting civil unions and Federal rights for LGBT couples, outlawing discrimination in the workplace, ensuring adoption rights, and ending the existing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy in a way that strengthens our Armed Forces and our national security. We must also commit ourselves to fighting the HIV/AIDS epidemic by both reducing the number of HIV infections and providing care and support services to people living with HIV/AIDS across the United States.
These issues affect not only the LGBT community, but also our entire Nation. As long as the promise of equality for all remains unfulfilled, all Americans are affected. If we can work together to advance the principles upon which our Nation was founded, every American will benefit. During LGBT Pride Month, I call upon the LGBT community, the Congress, and the American people to work together to promote equal rights for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America , by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States , do hereby proclaim June 2009 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. I call upon the people of the United States to turn back discrimination and prejudice everywhere it exists.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this first day of June, in the year of our Lord two thousand nine, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-third.

Busy ... Busy..
Today was fun.. This morning Ro and I went to Katie's confirmation. I had never been to one.. I always feel a little nervous going to something religious and not knowing that much about it.. It helped that Ro is Catholic so he kinda told me what would happen. When we go there we just saw Clarice ( Katie's twin sister) and John her Dad.. They had certain pews for the confirmation students.. and so we sat in their pews and I sat next to Katie. Her Dad showed her a card of what she had to say when she went up to the alter.. She had one of her meltdown and shut down on us and refused to do anything.. I tried the bribe thing with stickers.. that didn't help.. so I tried some humor and got her out of her funk .. She did well I just had to prompt her to stand and when to be quiet. There were 4 other kids that I recognized from work that were there too. When it was over and when we were leaving a lady that was sitting behind made the comment that my "DAUGHTER" is well behaved.. LOL my daughter.. Wow I guess I looked old enough to have a 8th grade daughter today.. I said no no she's not my daughter.. I work with her.. we are friends. Then we went to her house and all her family were there. Her Dad started making mojito's, he put rasqberry vodka, rasqberry, fresh peppermint, and blueberrys and some other concoction IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! I had 3! I just hung out with Katie's family and Ro went to go pick up D and we then headed to Gallo Arts to see Stomp.. They were amazing! My Mom got us awesome tickets! I'm pooped.. Good night!

Busy.. Busy .. Busy!
It's been awhile.. We have been so busy. With the house and with work ending soon.. It's like go go go .. Well Ro and I celebrated our 9th anniversary. We went out to fancy restaurant in Turlock and waited 45 mins. for our food we were the only ones there. The food was worth it though. Ro got me beautiful flowers and a super cute watch. We were at Super Walmart just checken out stuff because we had a gift card and Ro thought we should buy a little cheesecake ( his favorite) and get a number 9 candle and we should blow it out together.. I thought that was such a sweet idea. We got a screen door for our house the other day, it makes it so nice in the evening hanging out in the living room with the door open. It's so much nicer than turning on the AC. We finally finished painting the hutch and we brought in and I was able to fill two shelves but the rest looks bare so I went thrift shopping today to find something else to put in there.. No such luck. We had to buy a new computer chair for our computer because a wheel broke off of the other one. So we bought one today and I put it together. We are getting ready for my brother -in- law, my sister-in-law and my niece to come. I can't wait to meet Ava. She was born the day before my Great Grandmother passed away last year. I feel that maybe she decided to let go the day after because I had someone else to share my love with. =0*( I went to go visit her grave on Mother's Day with my Mom and Ro. My Mom and I had gone before but her gravestone was up yet. Going on Mother's Day it was there. It was so hard to see her name in the ground. I still miss her, I always will. Well I better go, I'm getting too emotional .. Check out my new pictures..

Special Olympics and our plum tree
Katie winning her run!
We had Special Olympics on Sat. this was Ro's first yr. of going. he had fun and took some great pictures of my friends and Katie running.Well we don't have a plum tree anymore.. It fell down on Mon. on top of the lime tree. We had to borrow my uncle's chainsaw to cut it all the way down and into pieces.. Friday our neighbor's house got broken into so now we decided to put in an alarm system so they are coming out Tues. this week. Ever since their house was broken into and they stole about 10,000 worth of stuff I hate being home alone so we think the only way I will be able to feel safe in our home is an alarm system. I'm wondering how this week of work is going to be we have testing all week except Fri. But we have 3 min. days this week so off at 1:12 will be nice. Katie will test with her full inclusion specialist on Wed. and the rest of the days we will hang out in the Detention room and work on some fun stuff. Hopefully we won't be too bored. My Mom and I went to a Bridal Gala today at a local restaurant and we found some good ideas we are thinking maybe we should do cupcakes instead of cake. The last wedding I went to started late and we didn't finish eating dinner until 10pm. so we didn't even eat cake. So we thought maybe we could put the cupcakes in the middle of the table as a centerpiece and the people can eat there cake whenever and not have to wait for it to come out of for someone to cut it. We say some really cute daisy cupcakes today.. So lots of ideas today.

Last two days have been very eventful
Yesterday my Mom and I went to visit a seamstress in Hughson. She showed me some material and gave us some prices. She had a daisy dress that she had made for a bridal show. It was sooooo cute.. But the neckline wouldn't of worked because my Nana has a special necklace for me to wear. So my Mom told her that she might buy it from her. =0) http://www.lisaannedesign.com is her website. She is a super nice woman with 3 boys! I wish my bridemaids all lived closer or I would have her do there dresses as well. I did buy a dress for one bridesmaid today on ebay for $25 bucks! It's green and strapless.. It's a size 12 so I'm not sure who will like it and if it doesn't fit the alternations shouldn't be that expensive. I've been looking for green and yellow dresses on ebay.. In my opinion why pay so much for a dress you only wear once.. So I 'm thinking $30 or under on ebay is the way to go. But from other bridesmaids that wore the dress once.. I love the fact of buying from someone to help them out and not some big bridal shop that makes millions a week. Today Ro and my Mom went to go meet with a videographer.. and we saw some videos and talked about where we should get married on the property and what side is sunny and which one is shady and the pros and cons.. Got all the info.. and he's given us a fat discount! Whooo hoo! Ro is gone right now.. it's 10:23pm and he is getting touched up on his tat's and he's also getting a new one.. His friend tat's him and so his friend wanted to give him a free one for his birthday. Which was last month! Ro won't tell me what he got.. so I'm nervously waiting for him to come home and see what he got. I will take pictures when he gets home and post them.. He says I will like it.. He says it's on his other shoulder that isn't tated yet.. HMMMMMMMM

Busy weekend.. Ready for the week off

So yesterday we went to Jamin's Mom's house to have a early dinner. Elena's Mom was there and "D", Sarah, Joe, Jamin's Aunt,Grandma, and his Mom's friend from work. We had a good time and lots of laughs. Today I went to brunch with a friend and then when I got home Nini was here and then Ralphael came we started making dinner. Then Maria Ro's Mom called Ralphael and he told him he was here.. let's rewind a little. I haven't been on good terms with Ro's Mom for about almost 3 yrs. if you know the story you know why. Ro felt bad because she called him after she talked to his Dad. So he looked at me and asked if she could come over.. Well with the 3 men are looking at me and are laughing because they know I'm uncomfortable. I said sure. So first I think what can I do so I can be out of the house. I am working on painting a hutch on the back patio. So I changed and headed out there. While I'm painting I hear her voice and my stomach get's upset and the anxiety is building. I had to stop painting and sat down at a table outside. We are watching my Dad's dog until Tues. She is out there with me and I just sit there thinking what should I do what's gonna happen when I finally have to go in. All of a sudden Ro comes out with his Mom in tow and he makes me get up and talk to her, she hugs me we talk and all of a sudden everything is fine. So I came inside and we started talking and making rice. I showed her our wedding website and talked about our wedding. When she left I invited her to our housewarming party on Sat. So it was a good Easter, and I know that Ro feels a lot better knowing that his Mom and I are ok now. Also we Skyped Ralph, Jenny, and Ava, it was good to see them. I want to find more people that are on there. It's a fun way to communicate. My fav. part is that it is FREE! Whohoo!

Maybe this wasn't a good idea
So both of my parents are gone for Easter.. =0( I don't think this has ever happened. My Dad has this yellow lab named Noni she is the sweetest low key dog ever. Ro and I don't like to hear that she goes the kennel . We rather have her be here with us. We have dog sat her before at Sunny Park, but not at our new house yet or around Delilah. I think the last time we had Delilah in our bedroom so she never met Noni. So Noni came yesterday we like to keep her inside because normally she's outside dog and doesn't get a lot of attention because my parents and my sister are so busy. So we love to spoil her will love and bonding time when she's with us. It took about an hr until Delilah came out and checked out the new visitor. She seemed fine and she kept her distance, Noni does whine at her though .. because she wants to play. Delilah seemed fine all last night and they slept on there separate couchs. But this morning I went outside to put the mail in the mail box I closed the door behind me and when I opened it Delilah was right there. Usually she is.. waiting for me.. today she decided to bolt! She ran outside and I sat in the door way calling her, then I tried chasing her. She was hanging out by a tree and I thought that she would bolt it up but she didn't .. I gave up and came inside to call Ro.. I am not sure why but I was a blubbering mess because I thought my baby didn't want to be here anymore because Noni was here, and this was her way of saying Hasta La Vista... I called Ro and he's not upset or anything and I can barely talk and hold the phone. Then all of a sudden I hear here scratching on the door.. First thought she really does love me! I ran to the door and she bolted right back in .. UGH! What a morning! She hid behind the couch for awhile because she was probably recovering from her trip outside. Then she finally came out and sat on her beanbag watching Noni. So I'm really confused because I thought she wasn't happy Noni was here why would she be intrigued with watching her.. Who knows.. what if animals could talk to you and explain themselves.. I'm just glad that Delilah decided that she wanted to be here and not run away.. I knew I always had a reason to have a collar on her with her name and Ro and my numbers.. in case this happened... but now a days do you really think people call.. I did last month when a beautiful German Shepard was roaming the streets, I called it over and it had tags and I called the number.. The man didn't live too far and he came an
d picked up the dog.Hmmm well here's what they are doing now..

My purple socks.. Jamin said I should
I figured I could blog about anything.. J suggested my socks.. they are white with purple stripes.. the bottoms aren't very dirty because I have only walked in garage once with them. If I had been out there more than three times they would be a dirt color on the bottoms. They are thin, which means they are breathable and they don't make my feet sweat. That's nice, I like that feature. I usually wear them with tennis shoes because they are breathable.
Tonight we had a little kick back we had Jamin, Elena and their baby Teveah, and also our friend Tom that we haven't seen in awhile. We had pizza and lots of laughs. We watched the final game of the final 4 for college basketball.

I love these wedding shows
I DVR any show that has married.. wedding.. or anything that pertains.. I am watching one about this gay guy couple... It's the cutest thing.. LOL It's called Newlywed, nearly Dead.. it's about newlyweds that are having troubles.. they need help with their marriages. Other shows are Wedding SOS a wedding planner comes to their rescue and gives them 3 wishes to help them with their wedding. Some are good for info but others are just lazy people that are so last minute. I think the one thing that has really helped me so far is a book called Bridal Bargains.. and I got it at the library. It has sooooooooo much info and great websites to check out. We have a videographer, a venue, maybe a photographer.. a caterer is with the venue... that's it we have to figure out cake, flowers,my dress.. I've been looking at pictures.. but I wanna go try on .. but I think 13 months before a wedding is WAY to early.. My Mom knows someone who makes wedding dresses.. we think maybe that will be cheaper.. and neater because it will be a one and only.. I haven't been able to grow my hair out forever.. Ever since I cut it doesn't grow that much.. A friend of mine recommended prenatal pills.. she says my hair will grow crazy.. I dunno.. She says I could also put in extensions..But I think that would look weird .. UHHH .. I didn't realize that you should register 2 to 3 months before the wedding and not much more because if you do that people will try to buy stuff you registered for it might be out of stock by then.. Just really interesting stuff.. My biggest happiness is last night my Dad told me that he wants Ro and I to swim with the dolphins in Kauai on our honeymoon next year. He will pay for it.. OMG! First I thought that was weird.. but it's kind of exciting knowing that you will swim with a dolphin.. How many people can say they have done that.. WOW.. Can't wait.. I want the wedding to be over already so I can do swim with the dolphins and chill out on the beach! WHOOO HOO!

Everything in the house is finished
The only thing left for Ian to do.. Our super duper handyman.. is to do the front of the porch.. someone threw cement there.. and it looked horrible.. I should of took a pic before Ian added cement.. but I guess I can take one of what it looks like before he finishes it.. He will put tile from our bedroom that he took out. Then he will be done.. Our house will FINALLY be finished and our open house will be in April.. We are so happy..

Our bathroom is offically finished!
WHOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO! I'm so so happy that the guest bathroom is finally finished! That means I won't be embarrassed when guest come over and need to shower or use the restroom. So drum roll please.. the photos!

Oh I almost forgot..
Well since Ava is crawling now! =0) We have some good news too!
Our bedroom floor is done! We have some remodeling pics to show too!
Thursday, February 5, 2009
So our remodel on our bathroom
is finally starting to come around and start... slowly but surely.. whenever they took off the first layer there was mold.. so he had to stop and we had to spray it with bleach and water. Then he came back and tore some more stuff down and there was more mold. Our contractor is glad that we wanted to do the remodel because the mold might of gotten worse and we would of had a huge problem. So now today he took out the old window in the shower and put in the new one that is smaller and higher.. because this is strictly Ro's bathroom. =0) He's so excited. I think tomorrow they will put in venting system's for both bathrooms and put in new insulation. Sooooo yay! I'm glad tomorrow is Fri. I get a three day weekend.. I had one last week and I will have one next week too! 3 3 day weekends.. I feel spoiled! I feel even more spoiled because Ro has been having the weekend off with me too. But this weekend he will have to work Sat. =0( It's ok though, I need to go over to my Mom's and work on ebay stuff. I was over there the other day and put at lease 5 new things on ebay and they are gonna sell this week so .. that makes me happy.. any way to make some extra money. I'm gonna start saving for our wedding.. We want to get married next year but we don't want to announce a date until we find a venue for sure. Well our friend "D" is over so I'm gonna get goen.. I gotta finish a scarf too that someone wants at a spa party in couple of weeks.
Sunday, January 18, 2009
I keep starting blogs then get distracted and not post them.. I'm gonna have one today though
So things are great.. Ro and I are starting to enjoy the house instead of fixing or putting stuff away enough though we are still doing that and still fixing but it's finally slowing down. I am finally going to post some pictures, since these pictures were taken we have changed some things but I will post those later. Ro and I both bought each other Valentines presents.. LOL We talked about it the other night .. that we would only spend $50 on each other this yr. Because Feb. is the 1st month that we will pay our mortage and all other bills in full. So Ro has been saying he wants a soniccare toothbrush like mine and he said Target had one for $50 so I bought that for him today and he used it and commented that his gums are tingling.. he's too cute.. Then the other day he looked through the Victoria Secret catalog and found some stuff he liked.. for me.. not him. So I made the order online.. For 3 things it was $56 bucks! So he gave me his credit card and that's my Valentines gift. So yay Valentines Day came early for us. So here's the pics

Christmas and New Year in San Diego
Well we are still in San Diego.. What a nice vacation we are having.. usually it seems like the vacations we have go by so fast, this one is going slowly.. which is weird, Ro and I have been sleeping on a inflatable bed and we are starting to be missing our own bed. We are also really missing Delilah our cat. We are happy that we have a housesitter there to be getting our mail, and paper and watching our kitty. Also it's nice to relax and spend time with family, it's been so crazy moving in and being stressed so it's nice to just sit and help my Nana cook and visit with everyone. Christmas dinner was wonderful with everyone. Visiting my Grandparents in Alpine, having dinner with them. Having lunch with my Aunt and Uncle. Going to go visit my other Aunt and Uncle who are the close and age to Ro and I so I don't really call them Aunt and Uncle. One of my cousin's I've never met he's 2, I have heard he's a terror and run's away already, people bringing him home already.. LOL I'm excited to see them tomorrow night. Then we leave Sat. it will be nice to be home again. We have a lot that needs to get finished and get started. Mon. our contractor will come and put in our new kitchen sink, our dishwasher, and our microwave. Then we have to talk to him about what we wanna do with our guest bathroom tub, we want to put in a shower since Ro doesn't fit in our shower. So we will have to buy new tile for that. I will be happy that we will finally be able to use our sink and dishwasher, we haven't been able to cook a meal really since our kitchen sink is broken. Well I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and a very exciting New Year..
