At peace

So we had our monthly cousins day on Mon. and it was at my Aunt Charlotte's house. She's my Grandma's sister. She told me she had a dream that my Great Grandma (Gamough) and her were sitting in her living room looking at pictures of Josslyn and my Gamough kept telling her that's Josslyn, Jackie's baby. Aunt Charlotte kept telling her " Yes, Mom I know." Aunt Charlotte told her there were more pictures of Jojo on my Facebook so they went online to look and I guess Gamough told her, well I don't have that picture. So my Aunt told her ok well I will let Jackie know. Then she woke up.
I had a hard time dealing with my Gamough not being here during my pregnancy and not being there for her birth and now. Especially around this time is hard without her. Everyone got together at her house on Christmas Eve. The past 3 years since she has been gone, I haven't really seen any family because we don't see each at her house. It makes me feel at peace that she is watching over Josslyn. But I already knew that because Josslyn talks to her when I change her diaper in her room all the time. Jojo stares at the ceiling and smiles and talks. I know she is talking to the angels, my family members that have past. Now I know that one for sure is Gamough.
We love you Gamough and keep watching over us. MUAH!

Mommy's back to work =0(

So this week was my first week back to work. Two weeks earlier than I was suppose to. Glad I called the District though because they would of put me on the sub list when I would of came back the 7th.
When the summer was nearing in May I went to the District to talk to them about me being on Maternity leave and how that would work. They said they would get me a sub starting in Aug. because I wouldn't be coming back when school started because that would be the time when the Dr. would take me off anyways. But they told me to call as soon as I get home from the hospital and let them know so I can start my 6 weeks or 8 weeks off. So I did, I called and I was told to come back Nov. 7. and then the odd thing is they said that I might not go back to my student Erica because her sub might be working out. So then I thought ok.. so then will I not have a job. So I decided last Friday to call and see what was going on. They told me that her sub was working out perfectly and they had 3 positions to fill by Mon. but since I won't be back until the 7th they will just put me on the sub list when I get back. Meaning I won't work everyday.. just when someone is out sick. So I told them well I need a job, so I will call my Dr. and see if I can be released early. So my Dr. faxed the released to Ro's work and I went to go pick it up and then dropped it off Mon. morning and went to Mary Lou Dietrich and told them I was the new aide in Mrs. Velarde's class.
The great thing about my new job is I already know the teacher and classroom aide. I worked with them about 5 years ago. They were Katie's teachers but I wasn't in their room, when she was in there. I just helped them out time to time. I also subbed in there a couple times. There are 17 kids in the class and 6 adults. The teacher, teacher's aide, and 4 one on one's. I am working with a girl named Alissa.. It's Erica's little sister. They look a lot a like and they do a lot of the same things by the way they eat to certain mannerisms. The main thing how they are a like is that they aren't potty trained. So changing diapers again.. =0/ So diaper changing at home and at work.. FUN! lol
The first week was hard for Jossy, as soon as Mommy came home it was like I can't go to sleep Mommy's home. So she was up from 3:15pm-10 pm. She would fight and fight to stay up. I guess since hearing Mommy's voice all day long to only hearing it part of the day was hard for her. But yesterday when I came home she was already asleep so she slept for awhile and then went back to sleep after she woke up for awhile. I guess she must of heard it was Fri. and Mommy would be home for the weekend. ;0)
Hopefully this weekend she will go back to her sleeping schedule. We will see.

First time at a restaurant..

So the 19th was my Dad's birthday and we went to Modesto Sukiyaki on the 20th to celebrate. Of course Jojo slept the whole time except when Uncle David messed with her feet. :0/ Stinky Uncle Dad made her upset! It was nice to go out to dinner with the whole family for her first time. My Dad, Step-Mom, my Sister, Uncle David, and Aunt Kim. We got a lot of special dishes not on the menu, they were so yummy. Even I got to eat sashimi which I have missed so bad. It was so fresh it was like it melted in my mouth! YUM YUM! We had a lot of fun and Dad got some nice gifts.

Mommy and Daddy's first date night

She was the perfect angel for Va Va and Grandpa Hal last night. Mommy and Daddy had their first date night. We went to see 50/50 at the theaters. It was a really good movie but I had to use at least 3 tissues. Then we went to do some shopping. Ro bought her a drying rack for her bottles and some candy corn for Grandpa Hal for watching her for us. We were going to go to dinner but we had a late lunch about 2 or so. Maybe next time. Before dropping her off at my parents we met one of my friends from high school and bought her pack and play from her. We needed one but had put it off till the day we needed it. LOL It's a very nice one with a bassinet and diaper change part to it. Thank you Alysia! Ro and I are still doing our weird sleep schedule. I go to bed at 11 and wake up at 3 am. and then he goes to bed and I stay up with her till she goes back to sleep. Then I try to go back to bed too. Sometimes she stays up from 3am-7am. But since I'm going back to work Nov. 7 we are gonna have to figure something new out. Then when Ro goes back to work in Dec. hopefully we will have a sleep schedule down pat.

Jo Jo is holding her head up longer now and we put her on her tummy time mat and she kept putting her legs under her like she was trying to crawl. Crazy girl! She's eating more and more and staying up longer. Still loves her bath's and her Boppy.

3 more days and my baby will be a month old..

WOW! Time has just flew by. 3 more days and my baby will be a month old. She's staying up more often and sleeping a little more. Also eating more. She can hold her head up more longer too. Ro and I are getting used to our weird, non-existing sleep time. LOL Ro stays up late with her, and I get up about 4 am and stay up with her till Ro gets up again. Around 1 or 2 or so.. Everyday isn't the same though. Sometimes one of us gets a little more sleep than the other. ;0) We are enjoying the visitor's and Josslyn is enjoying meeting friends and family.

I've only driven once, down the street to Grocery Outlet but the next day I was sore. So I'm still weary about driving quite yet. But I do feel like I'm healing more and more each day. I'm finally getting my nails done today. Man this is the longest I've gone without getting my nails done. They are so long!!! I'm actually gonna drive to Turlock by myself. So hopefully I won't be sore tomorrow.

She's here! 9-9-11 at 1:05 pm. 8 lbs. 10 ounces 20 inches long

She's here! I ended up having a c-section because her head was too big and she wouldn't descend. Ro hurried up and called people when we found out we were going in for surgery. We were in the hospital for awhile. But now we are home and enjoying every single day. Even the spit up and poopy diapers. ;0) Yesterday she christianed Mommy with her poop. It got all over me, the floor. What a mess! We went to visit Nana at Uncle Davids and Aunt Kim's. I loved watching Nana with her. Ro went and ran some errands while we visited. Today is a quiet day just hanging out.

Tomorrow is 40 weeks! WOW!

I can't believe how fast.. and now so slow this baby baking business goes. It feels just like it was January and finding out we are having a little bean. Josslyn decided she wasn't going to come on her due date. So now I'm going to be induced tomorrow evening, on her original due date the 8th. We've got our hospital bag packed. Car seat in the car, and stroller ready! Today Ro asked if he could put together her swing tomorrow. He's been so helpful with making dinner, lunch, and sometimes breakfast ;0). He's gone far and beyond husband duties the last 9 months. He's so excited to be a Daddy! I can't wait to see him hold her and love on her. I'm gonna be bawling like a baby.. =0) I get all teary thinking about it. I can't wait to share photos with everyone.

28 weeks! 83 more days to go!

This picture is 27 weeks. I finally stopped eating my fro yo hoping I wouldn't get sick. Well, it worked! So yay for 3rd trimester! I am leaving on Sun. with my Mom to go to Palm Springs and then come back on Wed. We are going to visit my Grandparents there. My Gramma really wants to see me pregnant. We are going by Amtrack and bus. I'm fine with the Amtrack part because you can walk around and eat in the little restaurant. The bus.. well it's a bus with a porta potty in the back. We will be on the bus for about 5 hours. UGH! It will be worth it. Taking lots of magazines and snacks.
Lately I've been having a hard time sleeping, my hips hurt, and my back hurt. Every once in awhile will I get a good night sleep. Josslyn is kicking more at night too. When I wake up at night to go to the restroom when I come back to bed she wakes up and kicks away.
I'm loving that I'm not working, especially when I get no sleep the night before. I'm loving my lazy days and taking it all in because pretty soon I won't have any!

17 weeks and Day 3

YAY! I have found GOLD! Literally! LOL Na just a cure for my night sickness. I now eat frozen yogurt every night before I go to bed or after dinner. This is a special frozen yogurt that has extra cultures in it and it helps with tummy issues. The best part is it tastes yummy! The only times I do get sick is if we are out to dinner and I wait too long to come home and eat it and I throw up a little. Then I rush home to eat it! I feel so much better knowing I have a cure. It makes me a happy Mommy to not worrying about ok when am I gonna get sick..

I was so bummed yesterday though, I was crazing salami and Ro and I went to the store and he bought me some. I come home and was about to eat some and thought.. I might wanna check to see if I can eat it.. WHAAAAAAA! I can't.. Why oh why child are you making me crave something I can't have.. =0(

15 weeks

Man I'm bummed that this 2nd trimester isn't going like I thought it would.. Throwing up every night.. Never fails.. Doesn't matter what I eat or don't eat. Doesn't matter if it's 2:00am or 4:30 am.. This sucks really bad. I wish I could say I hope the 3rd trimester is better.. I have a feeling it will be worse. I feel bad for Ro because he feels so helpless. During the day if my tummy hurts a little I eat ginger cookies, like little thin ones and automatically it goes away.. Which I love but I night I start coughing and it just happens.. No tummy ache or anything.. So weird. Yesterday was awful I could barely keep anything in, only thing that I didn't throw up was a bagel and I think that was it.. I was so dehydrated.. UGH! Glad I could eat all day today and keep it down. Fun Fun Fun.. =0(

Tired at 5:30pm?!?!

11 weeks 6 days

Man, I really need to keep to my bedtime of 9:30.. I was up till 10:30 last night because I wasn't tired.. and now I wanna go to bed now... at 6 pm.. LOL

Well it stinks Ro is working till 11pm. tonight. =0( They told him he wouldn't have to anymore.. Bunch of liars!!!

Called my Dr. last week asking what I can take for motion sickness since my Mama and I are leaving on a cruise Friday. Dr. wasn't in until today.. didn't get a call all day so I called about 1:30pm. and they said that I could only take some C medication. They said they would call it in to my pharmacy. I went about 4:30 or so and nope wasn't there yet. So I called my Dr. and they said they don't call in until 5 pm. everyday.. Baloney! When I got another medication from them I just went after work and it was there.. UGH! Now I gotta go back tomorrow..

I'm excited and anxious about the cruise this weekend.. I've been on two before, but I think it might be a whole new experience pregnant. I really wanted Ro to come with us.. But he's a chicken and doesn't want to get on a ship.. LOL I thought my anytime of the day sickness was over pretty much but it happened yesterday after lunch.. Which was really odd because I had leftovers from the night before and was fine.. So weird.. I can't wait to spend the next 4 days with my Mom, she says we are gonna get massages and facials.. I can't wait!

I am so glad the next two days of work are min. days, they will go by super fast!

I'm Pregnant! WOW!

Baby at 9 weeks


I'm 11 weeks today. I didn't think I would be growing this fast.. But my husband was 13 pounds when he was born.. LOL Lord help me! LOL

I've already figured out that I only like the maternity pants that cover my belly not the ones that go under the belly. I did a boo boo and bought a pair and was pulling them up allllll day long at work. ANNOYING! But I bought a BeBand today in black and white so hopefully those will help with those pesky pants. It's sad even my stretchy most comfortable Adidas pants are getting too snug on the belly. =0( I'm so grateful for my wonderful cousin Becky for giving me some maternity clothes to help me out. Now I'm already making a pile of stuff that doesn't fit, now I just need to find an empty tub in the garage to put it in and put B.P on it.. Before Pregnancy..

It's funny to me the way certain people react to finding out I'm pregnant. I have some family still that haven't said Congrats or called... People I barely know are so excited for me.. For example a parent at the bowling alley at Special Olympics I have known her for at least 3 years now.. See her twice a week, we talk maybe once a month.. Today she told me to be careful down the stairs and told everyone at the table I was expecting.. I guess it's just certain people who have that caring.. special thing about them.. Always warming your heart in some ways. I try to be that person to others.

So the only thing I've been wanting lately is hot stuff.. Odd because I can't stand hot stuff.. I love jalapenos, but I've learned all ready that more then 5 is not good.. Baby doesn't like that many.. LOL I usually love and crave chocolate.. Now it's like.. oh we have chocolate.. who cares..Weird how I have total opposites going.

My favorite part about being pregnant so far is that Ro has asked not to work 3-11pm. anymore. As sweet as his boss is she agreed to let him work 9-6 from now on. He told her that I was having a hard time not going to sleep with out him home.. which has always been true. But now my bed time is 9:30 or earlier.. only later on weekends if I can sleep in. It's hard for me the next day if I go to bed later I feel exhausted, and I know being up late isn't good for the baby.
