Maybe this wasn't a good idea
So both of my parents are gone for Easter.. =0( I don't think this has ever happened. My Dad has this yellow lab named Noni she is the sweetest low key dog ever. Ro and I don't like to hear that she goes the kennel . We rather have her be here with us. We have dog sat her before at Sunny Park, but not at our new house yet or around Delilah. I think the last time we had Delilah in our bedroom so she never met Noni. So Noni came yesterday we like to keep her inside because normally she's outside dog and doesn't get a lot of attention because my parents and my sister are so busy. So we love to spoil her will love and bonding time when she's with us. It took about an hr until Delilah came out and checked out the new visitor. She seemed fine and she kept her distance, Noni does whine at her though .. because she wants to play. Delilah seemed fine all last night and they slept on there separate couchs. But this morning I went outside to put the mail in the mail box I closed the door behind me and when I opened it Delilah was right there. Usually she is.. waiting for me.. today she decided to bolt! She ran outside and I sat in the door way calling her, then I tried chasing her. She was hanging out by a tree and I thought that she would bolt it up but she didn't .. I gave up and came inside to call Ro.. I am not sure why but I was a blubbering mess because I thought my baby didn't want to be here anymore because Noni was here, and this was her way of saying Hasta La Vista... I called Ro and he's not upset or anything and I can barely talk and hold the phone. Then all of a sudden I hear here scratching on the door.. First thought she really does love me! I ran to the door and she bolted right back in .. UGH! What a morning! She hid behind the couch for awhile because she was probably recovering from her trip outside. Then she finally came out and sat on her beanbag watching Noni. So I'm really confused because I thought she wasn't happy Noni was here why would she be intrigued with watching her.. Who knows.. what if animals could talk to you and explain themselves.. I'm just glad that Delilah decided that she wanted to be here and not run away.. I knew I always had a reason to have a collar on her with her name and Ro and my numbers.. in case this happened... but now a days do you really think people call.. I did last month when a beautiful German Shepard was roaming the streets, I called it over and it had tags and I called the number.. The man didn't live too far and he came an
d picked up the dog.Hmmm well here's what they are doing now..

Haha! You poor thing. I would have freaked too. So I am guessing Delilah doesn't ever go outside? That is like our cats. The cool thing about cats is that they are really really smart, so even if she did take off.... she would get hungry and find home again most likely. :)
Before we got her from my friend she was a stray and an outdoor cat, we decided when we got her that she would be indoor only because our roommates cat got sick from something outside and we decided that we didn't want the extra vet bills from her getting who knows what from outside or fights.. which she likes to have through our sliding glass door.. Troublemaker!
